I bought these for my charger cords, especially when traveling. But as I opened the package, sitting at my computer, I gave them a try on the tangle of cords that connect various electronic devices. They worked great! In one case, the cord was so long that one tie wrap wasn't long enough after I looped the wire up, so I attached two tie wraps together and it provides a loose (and quite satisfactory) grip on the wound up cord.
