What is an RTA?
The acronym RTA stands for rebuildable tank atomizer, which is a tank system with a rebuildable coil. Unlike an RDA where you have to add e-liquid continuously to keep the wicks from getting dry. RTAs bring a whole other level of convenience to vapers. When using an RTA, you only need to fill it up and vape until the e-juice is finished and then fill it up again. Typically, an RTA comes with a building deck, a chimney that connects the build deck to the top cap of the atomizer, a glass tank, and a drip tip.
How to use an RTA?
When it comes to using an RTA, it's quite simple. First of all, you need to build a coil and install the coil on the build deck. After that, the coil will have to be wicked with cotton. Mouth-to-lung RTA vs. Direct-to-lung RTA

Some Tips You Should Keep in Mind When Building on an RTA!
1. Keep your cotton fluffy
One important thing you should bear in mind is that compared with densely-packed cotton, the fluffy cotton wick can absorb e-juice more effectively.
2. Think about the PG/VG ratio of your e-juice
How much cotton for your wick depends on the PG/VG ratio of your e-juice. For higher-VG e-juice, less cotton would be better. If you have a higher-PG e-liquid, then you use a little bit more cotton.
3. Make sure the coils span across the air slots
Make sure that the coils span across the air slots, especially with a bottom airflow RTA. If the length of the coil is too short, it will allow the wicks to drip e-juice into the air holes, which can cause gurgling and even flooding.
4. Not to overfill your RTA
Leaving an air bubble allows e-liquid to adequately flow to the wicks and exchange air for vaporized liquid.
